1 meter for all
im an electrician in the coal mines this is a ruged meter that does the job of many it is simple to use and very accurate i love mine and would recommend it to anyone
✔ Yes, I recommend this product.
Hobbiest –
The one multimeter that does the work of several meters.
37XR-A is the one multimeter that does the work of several meters without having to spend a substantial amount of money purchase each of the individual meters and it fits within your hand.
✔ Yes, I recommend this product.

WOW! Is This Thing Built!
I am a Electronic Field Tech and for this job you’d be hard pressed to find a finer DMM. The 37XR-A is the most rugged and feature packed meter I’ve owned. Having to carry everything I need in one kit, the 37XR-A does the job of several meters which means that I have less to carry. If you are looking for an accurate, tough, & do all True RMS DMM, this is the only meter you need.
✔ Yes, I recommend this product.

good product at a good price
Currently the most complete multimeter for electronics engineer. The only downside is that the no-load Capacimeter stays at 0.0
✔ Yes, I recommend this product.

1. Error
My amprobe show 1.error on Ac volt scale, and show 2 error on Ac current scale. There is no information on how to correct it. Other function is OK. I wish the manual should contains info how to correct the problem.
✘ No, I do not recommend this product

Good meter after you fix it
I don’t have too much bad to say about it except for the fact that I’ve had to fix it twice. Both times the effect was that any of the settings connected to the voltage side would “beep” incessantly. The first time I found the issue to be the solder joint connecting the thermal resistor. The second time took hours to find and a couple more to fix. I’ll admit I was ready to throw the thing out the window. The first time I opened it I simply went over the board and reflowed every major joint. That seemed to fix it. The next day same thing. So I opened it up again. Fluxed everything and reflowed. Fixed. It was getting worse, I’d put the cover on and not 5 minutes later error. I found the issue was a capacitor near the read out. As I tried reflowing the copper loosened(likely the issue in the first place) so then after some meticulous scraping and shining I finally got the bugger back in place. Hasn’t done it again. So like I said. When it works it’s awesome. When you’re trying to work and it keeps preventing you from doing that. Man!

Great Multimeter
This meter has a real feel of quality about it, from the solid feel of the case to the nice smooth action of the range selector switch, and the bright easy to read display.
The best thing with this meter is the confidence it instills in you, producing repeatable dependable results every time I use it. The only negative I can think of is the slow response of the continuity tester.
✔ Yes, I recommend this product.

great product
This unit is a must have for engineers and hobbyists. Inductance measurement is a key tool every person who works with circuits needs to have to quickly analyze problems, this is a full featured RMS meter. Ideal for working mix signal environments, very well designed unit, excellent construction and quality. Very good deal in highly competitive market space from one of the longest and most respected measurement brands in the industry. Best return on investment for the feature benefit delivered. Best price as well.
✔ Yes, I recommend this product.

Rampant cheating in RC car racing
love this thing, i use it to test voltage on rc batteries (lipo) to see if people are overcharging batteries to gain an unfair advantage in a spec class.
second and more important, people have been replacing motors of a specific turn, with something faster. and there is no way to visually test this….but this meter does inductance which allows me to see if the motor is actually what it says it is. the inductance is not super precise, at least not for my purpose, but it can easily tell if someone is running a 17.5turn motor or a step up a 13.5t motor…so that is awesome.
biggest downside is its size….its big and somewhat heavy…i liked the dimentions of my facom voltmeter much better , and the wires where better too, but also twice the price….so the amprobe replaced my facom after someone spilled in it and left it to die grrr, but the amprobe gives me more options at half the cost so thats cool
✔ Yes, I recommend this product.

Great Meter
The 37XR-A is a very nice meter. It has the usual features plus it measures Inductance. I will probably not use everything the meter has, as my main use is for electronics.
✔ Yes, I recommend this product.

Very happy tech
My 37xr-a is my goto meter….I am an avioncs test tech and i love this meter. A few pluses for me is the meter read out very loe ohm..to 3 decimal places. It has micro amps setting and does both capacitance and induction. Also the Blue screen is awsome. This should be the last meter I will ever buy.
✔ Yes, I recommend this product.

Excellent equipment!!!
I really love this multimeter, the reading are always accurate and precise. I’m a controls engineer and I use all the functionalities eveyday, it’s good for instrumentation and power control tasks.
I have around 7 years with the same multimer and it still working as a charm.
The relation quality/price is very good.
✔ Yes, I recommend this product.

A reliable, well-made digital multimeter with many useful features suitable for any electrician.
I bought my Amprobe 37XR-A True-rms digital Multimeter shorty after my previous one began to fail.
What one first notices about this digital multimeter is the level of professionalism that accompanys it. For example, since it is a brand of Fluke, Amprobe backs it up with a 3 year warranty and associated calibration services. As a top quality meter, it has a solid weight and feel to it–including a tough cover to handle accidental drops, a function knob that turns smoothly and crisply, a clear screen with available backlighting, a linear scale for more precise metering, an extra fuse installed inside the case if one happens to blow the fuse and top quality test leads that attach to alligator clips for more efficient probing. These included features and benefits truly saved me quite a bit of time and stress. Likewise, the built-in jackstand doesn’t wobble when deployed, the strong magnetic strap attachment does wonders for hands-free problng, the built-in probe holders on the case are well placed so one can concentrate on making the right connection and the audible sound helps tremendously if the wrong input jack is used. One interesting feature, while not usually found on meters of this quality, is the TTL/CMOS logic function that helps establish this meter as a diagnostic tool. Finally, one can easily service the Amprobe 37XR-A true RMS true digital multimeter (9v battery and fast blow fuse) through the back panel.
While a solid true DMM on nearly every front, the 37XR-A didn’t include a few things I would have preferred. Most notably, the layout of the plug jacks at the bottom front of the meter–while still very useful–don’t follow the industry norm. Likewise, I would have expected to find the serial number somewhere on the outside of the case–which I did not. This meter does not include the low z function, which helps troubleshooters find annoying ghost voltages, and it does not include a temperature probe function, a feature found on many multimeters these days.
In conclusion, the Amprobe 37XR-A true RMS Digital multimeter is a professional grade multimter that should give you years and years of worry free service in residential and light industrial situations.
✔ Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought this meter 3 years ago. Shortly after the warranty period, he stopped measuring voltages and currents. After sending unit to the service, they told me that multimeter is unrecoverable – the processor crashed. The service technician told me that the manufacturer does not provide any schematics or parts – the customer has to buy a new unit!
