Great product with excellent features
I have used this meter on a number of projects, and it has performed excellently on all. Has all the functions one would need for industrial or HVAC electrical measurments. Very stable readings with analog meter to show trends. Inrush is useful for for measuring startup loads. Compared the harmonic distortion to theoretical readings for rectifier/capacitor power supply in VFD drive and correlation was excellent. The navigator key and on screen option display make it easy and intuitive to use despite the large number of options. Only improvement suggestion would be to print the power on options next to the appropriate key–I cannot remember that nav key down–power on is disable automatic power off without trial and error or reading manual.

After a year I bought the company where I worked, Philips Romania, a meter-52NAV Amprobe ACDC AC / DC CAT IV 600A True-rms Clamp Meter Navigator ™. I could not enjoy my possibilities because in its short time I landed a job at another company (Romania Cofely, a GDF Suez group member). I asked the company to purchase a gauge identical to the one bought by Philips Romania, so soon I get the pleasure of using a second-52NAV ACDC.
For three months I have had the pleasure to discover and use practically all the facilities this meter so I can say that is really fantastic to have access to both the values measured with high accuracy at a price so small . It is the meter with the best quality / price ratio I’ve ever seen. When I ordered for the first time this unit, I did not know there, I called the distribution company a meter that meets the conditions they have imposed myself, including a limit price (low), without knowing whether a such apparatus exists in reality. Distributor returned with an offer according to the request and so I came into possession of this meter.
Now I’m really sorry that I have such a device at home, the dealer I have not seen the offer, I would have liked to use and can execute the works in particular, and I wish I I can show friends working in the electrical field and could be interested in such a device.
