Mark59 –
Extremely useful and easy to use
We have used this meter at multiple installations for field bus distributed I/O. The meter helped to determine leakage current and the source, which could cause communication problems and nuisance tripping. The meter is very useful in trouble shooting problems at new installations and existing issues, out in the field.

Cost effective tool to measure leakage current; great for GFCIs
The Amprobe AC50A is sensitive enough to measure the hot minus neutral current difference directly as well as the actual ground current. I was able to separate power leakage from ground loop current in a digital A-V studio environment, and trace the actual leaking devices that were causing a hard GFCI trip.
