The Amprobe ACD-10 TRMS-PLUS clamp meter takes AC/DC measurement with TRMS accuracy and offers capacitance and frequency. It also offers thinner jaws over standard clamp meters allowing access to tight areas and still accommodates conductors up to 1.0″ (25 mm).

I just got this meter and I love it. I am an appliance repairman, these new refrigerators don’t give you any room at the compressor to check the amperage load, all other clamp meters have jaws that are way to thick. with them I have to split the wire shroud at the compressor to get enough room to take a reading, with the acd-10 trms-plus you don’t have to. plus you need TRMS to get an accurate reading. just a half an amp difference can mean a good or bad compressor in these new style compressors.

Great customer service on a great tool.
When this unit arrived, it was not in working order. I contacted Amprobe and returned for warranty replacement via a prepaid shipping label sent by them. The replacement tester arrived in about 2 weeks with no questions asked and it works great. The new unit that they sent was a complete tester with leads, case, etc. So we ended up with spare leads, case, battery, etc. Overall, except for the delay in getting a working tool, we are very happy and Amprobe Customer Service is the best. I own many Amprobe products and will purchase others in the future.
