Im a plumber and multiple times a week I come across situations where I need to know if a wire or socket is live or not and not only is this tester reliable its extremely easy to use. I’ve had mine for 4 or 5 years and never had any problems with it. Used it for everything, until I tried it on a 15 mile fence charger . I got an arc from one of the contacts and now all the lights are burning and I can’t figure out what happened. It’s a great tool , just don’t use it on a big fence charger. For now I’m looking for a trouble shooting site to check it.
